Visual reference - update

Since I changed the interface prototype of the final deliverable, I updated the visual reference for the computer app this time.

Layout


The dashboard design - The designer used calm colors in order to feel comfortable on the eyes when using the app.

I like the design style of Sanket designer, black and white illustrations look simple and clean.



The interface design of this app is also very simple and clear. The light-colored background and brightly colored illustration design will make users more visual novel in use.


UI colour mood board




Green -  is the best color to improve efficiency. In addition to being one of the simplest colors on the eyes, it also reminds us of nature. Green is a good color for keeping long-term concentration and clarity.



Blue -  Some studies have shown that blue is best for challenging learning situations. Blue paper, blue ink, or blue highlighting can also be used to help improve reading comprehension. Blue is a relaxing and calming color, but I think light blue looks more "friendly", while dark blue looks a little gloomy.




Orange - Orange may be a popular and exciting color for learners, which improves comfort and improves nerve function. Color psychologist ‘Angela Wright’ pointed out that bright orange will irritate people, while low saturation will be more soothing. Therefore, to increase energy, you must be bold, and to relax, you must be gentle.

Axure RP10 - Interactive prototyping process

After I used Figma to design the first draft, I imported the wireframe into Axure. I used the Axure RP 10.0.0 3826 version. Importing is not supported below this version. I have a student license, so I can use it for free.  The page size of the app I designed is 1440 1020, I imported all the artwork of the Figma into Axure, and then I can carry out the next step of interface design and interaction design in Axure.  After I put in the icons and illustrations, I started to interact with the interactive buttons on each page. Although the button fingertip interaction is relatively easy, it is very troublesome and trivial.
